Gerry | Hi Gerry,
I'm sure you will continue to be pleased with them.
All the best in your 'birdwatching'.

Thanks again for all the advice given, much appreciated,

| | | Re: Which binoculars for £1200? I've been out playing with my new bins (Leica Ultravids 10x42) this afternoon. I absolutely love em. It seems i observed more birds and wildlife than usual or maybe I was just trying harder (maybe they will be my lucky bins now!). I saw a peregrine, 3x buzzards, 2x common cranes, a Glaucous gull, an Iceland gull, a scaup, a fox and the usual culprits.
I would recommend these binoculars to anyone; they are crystal clear, compact and easy to use. I just hope I don't regret getting the HD version (couldn't afford the extra 300 odd quid).
Once again, thanks for all the advice, Mark. |

As for binoculars with built in digital cameras, they're a waste of time. I tested the Meade model and it simply didn't perform - utterly useless. |

Once again, thanks for all the advice, Mark. | You obviously missed the little digital chip inside that automatically finds the birds and draws the binoculars towards them!!!!
Good luck with the new bins, they'll last you for years. Should have got the Swarovskis though. |
