i just took a risk and bought a pair of canon 10x30 IS binoculars off ebay for £131, they arrived in 2 days and ive just been playing with them and cant believe how good they are.
so a happy chap here.
roll on the weekend so i can go out and do some birdwatching.

That sounds a good price - have fun! Hope the weather is dry and bright for you this weekend 
Do you find them heavy? The IS seems to bump up the weight to 600g.

Be interesting to see how you get on with them. We used to stock them but had so many complaints from customers who bought them that we stopped. The problem was a feeling of nausea, especially after they had been used for a while. It seems that there is a disparity between the semi-circular canals and the eyes. It doesn't affect everyone, so I hope you are not one of those who suffers. |

well ive been out twice and find them excellent, a lot lighter and less bulky than the rspb bins i have been using.
the IS really does seem to help.
