| | Nikon Fieldscope 82mm ED Eyepieces Thinking of purchasing a back up eyepiece for Nikon 82mm ED im currently using the x30DSW for spotting and digiscopeing, would like to upgrade to greater magnification, but at the same time possibly having the option for digiscoping at a higher magnification. Ive being doing some research on the x40 x60 & x75 DSW eyepieces but reviews are quite rare can any body help with some of there experiences using the above mentioned eyepieces. |

I did use 82mm with the WDS 30x and Coolpix 7900+ FSB-1 mount, If you go for more magnification you will reduce the amount of light entering through to the camera and also increase shake, haze and noise to the image.
If its the distance your after over quality then thats what your'll achieve..
What camera do you use and mount........ or hand hold..!!

I was very interested in you comments about scoping with the P5100 coolpix. I am thinking of buying the same set up (for my ED 78 fieldscope) and wonder how you are getting of with your?
Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.
Tanks

Starting To Produce Some Nice Photos Now, As With Most New Toys It Took A Bit Of Getting Used To, Found Some Good Advice From The Web Ref Settings. My Main Advice To You Is have A Play round With The settings If The Photoes Are rubbish Just Delete Them, Avoid using The camera Zoom And Avoid Trying To Take The Photoes Any More Than 30 meters. Set The Focus On The Subject First Then Attach The camera. You Will Probably Need An FSB6 Adaptor for A DS Eyepiece I use x 30DSW.

Or, after such a statement you should have some justification for making it.
