What do you wear under it? I have heard that Paramo jackets are very warm. Some only wear a thin wicking base layer under it. Traditionally I suppose people layer along the lines of base layer, fleece, outer shell.

I didn't pay £200.00 for mine !! -- Sale in the Lakes.
BRILLIANT jacket; most breathable thing I've ever had, but
if like me you tend to sweat a lot (and I did when I was young
and fit too !!) then nothing is really breathable.
Waterproofing is great, but you do need to wax it from tme to time.
They are so light and comfortable.
I tend to wear a wicking base layer and light fleece, though if walking
all the time base layer is probably enough - nowadays with birds
and photography forcing me to stop I tend to wear more, usually
with zips so that things can be undone to let out heat, for which the
arm vents are also an asset.
My only critiscism is that it is not warm when really biting wind.
For instance I dod NOT use it winter skiing, but do for spring
skiing. In the cold I wear a totally wind-proof jacket.
The trousers are also great to, with full length zips to help with climate
control, but again in a biting wind I like long-johns as well.
I shall replace when / if it wears out, and pay the £200.00
