Reading these posts got me wondering - does repetitive sensor cleaning eventually cause damage/wear on the sensor over time?
Mark H | It certainly shouldn't, if you use the correct products. To be really accurate, we're not actually cleaning the sensor, but a sensor screen. Makes no practical difference though, if you damage the screen the effects exactly the same! |

| | | Re: 5D Sensor Cleaning I also use a 5d and have three lenses. Dust becomes a problem when taking landscape shots with very small apertures .I've tried sensor cleaning swabs without much success.
I now use a rocket blower and a visible dust brush made by arctic butterfly.
Since buying the visible dust brush i've never had any problems with dust.
