Recommendations for high power rechargeable torch please?

Can anyone recommend a decent high power rechargeable torch please? We have a couple of Clulites which have always been good, but are beginning to lose their charge quickly. In the past we've tried a couple of other makes but found their battery life pretty poor. We live in the sticks and with winter on the way, want something reliable for checking on our animals/property after dark.

I keep seeing mag adverts for 2 million candle power etc, but are they really any good? Want something reasonably price, not too heavy and that gives a good battery life, if thats not too much to ask for!

I have a Fenix L2T and a Fenix L2D CE which, along with some rechargeable NiMH batteries, work really well for me. Really bright and decent runtime.
