| | | Re: Insect repellant i'd love to help you out here, but my history with insect repellent is thus: buy it because someone says it works really well for them and then find out that it doesn't work for me, or in one memorable case, caused my skin to burn and peel. joy. the most effective one i've found so far (and by that i mean it limited the damage) is 50% deet with a stop them being able to bite stuff (its not that effective) which i buy at a whopping £7.99 for a measley 50ml. however, it seems to work against all but the most determined little bugs and stops ticks too, which is a bonus! its pretty much odour free as well, but try not to get it on anything plastic, because it dissolves like ice-cream in a furnace!!

I use neem oil which also works well for my mum ( i mean it keeps midges off her , not that i use it to repel her ) however be warned that that was the one that burned and blistered sarah

| | | Re: Insect repellant Insect repellants work by smell!! OK often we may not be
able to smell it too much, but humans have a terrible sense
of smell compared to many mammals, and I expect
badgers have excellent smell.
Have you considered a bug jacket? Many fishing shops sell them
as well as bug hats. |

Badgers have a great sense of smell.

Why do they rub their bums on each other
