| | | Extension Bellows I noticed a number of extension bellows for sale at 'buy it now' prices of under £15. They are listed as being Canon fit. They consist of a body mount and a lens mount which are connected by a set of bellows. The whole thing runs on a pair of metal rails.
They come from China, but look like they would perform better than extension tubes as the bellows are infinitely variable, not fixed like tubes. Does anyone think that they are worth taking a chance on? |

Of course you never said Ebay, so perhaps they're somewhere else! |

I used to use (and still have) a set of Jessops auto bellows that I used with my Olympus system many years ago. As you say, the magnification is variable, but they were more cumbersome to use. You also need a focusing rail mounted underneath the assembly. Having said that, using bellows makes things very versatile.
At £15 it's not much of a risk, but you may also need a double cable release if there is no aperture linkage with the camera.
