What is cheap? name a price
I use a really cheap scope ,an Opticron Piccolo £50-£60 if you shop around
I am not a keen birder for which you need a scope which costs real money
this scope is in keeping with my occasional watching needs I have even
digiscoped through it and found the results better than I expected

Hi Nightshade, as per your advice I purchased a Piccolo, am very pleased with it.
Do you know if there's an adaptor which allows me to fix my digital camera on?
the camera is nothing flash, just a run of the mill 5 mega pixel Kodak.
Is there a universal adaptor do you know?

There may well be, but I just hold my little Sony W50 with its lense extended
resting lightly in the eyecup of the scope there are lots of adaptors around
but probably cost as much if not more than the scope,
If you are handy at all see if there is one you can approximate(should not say copy)
failing that I will see what I can think up but there are so many variables

Are you worried about weight and size ? If not, I have a a scope on ebay right now which I have used for a while with my Nikon D70, but being disabled it is proving to be just a bit too heavy (2.4kg) for me.
