| | | White Balance Correction I saw a thread recently from someone asking how to correct images that had been accidentally recorded with the white balance set to flourescent rather than daylight. I can't find the thread, so have started this new one
The same thing happened here, so I downloaded the white balance plug-in filter from The Image Factory on a 30 day trial. Setting the white balance of the "original scene" to daylight at 5500 and the "camera setting" to 3800 I got a reasonable image which I then corrected slightly more with curves to remove more red (I can probably juggle the setting around to do this in the filter, but not tried it yet). Here's what I got:
I'm very impressed with the results, considering I've only played with the filter for about 5 minutes |

( no offence Richard that was a general observation not specifically aimed at you)
I generally make a point of checking the WB , along with the mode dial , the focus mode, burst mode, and anything else that its easy to change by accident at the begining of each session - it takes a little bit of time but i'm sure it saves time in the long run
