| | | Re: What am i?! Hello,
this is a species of a genus called "ink-caps". You probably guess why they are called so
These species usually don't just rot away like other mushrooms do, but dissolve themselves in a black, ink-like substance.
I can not tell which species, because I don't get the images bigger. Possibly it is Coprinus comatus or Coprinopsis picaceus.
best regards,
Andreas

Two good guesses considering I can see nothing either.

All I see when I click on those little icon-thingies is "Photo not found in the database!"

| | | Re: What am i?! Hello,
my pendulum told me which fungus mudcow showed us
No, honestly, yesterday the fotos were to see. I don't know why they are no longer. May be they have been included in the wrong Gallery ("determined fungi"), but then they could have been shifted rather than deleted.
@mudcow: There are no fungi that harm anyone, when you don't eat it. So if you just let the fungus be as it is, it will harm no one. If you were scared that your dog might be harmed when eating a fungus, I would strongly recommend to teach you dog not to do such things. Even fungi that are edible to humans can cause problems in (certain) animals and vice versa. But I have never heared of a dog eating inky ink-caps and I don't think they look very apetizing even for dogs ;-))
best regards,
Andreas
