Orange mushrooms?

I found an bright orange mushroom in the base of an oak tree round bolet type head with gills underneath and with a tough large stem the only thing that I can find similar in my book is 'Gymnopilus junonius' my book says inedible - after signing up I noticed that cannot upload my photos therefore the other orange mushrooms that I found in the woods of which I cannot find a description in my book are useless as this site does not have the photos either - I did not realise what a waste of time signing up was !

Perhaps you wouldn't consider it to be such a "waste of time" if you had looked at one or two of the "information" threads first - this, for example, on how to upload photographs:

The last couple of posts provide a pretty good summary of what to do. Always post in the Image Library for identification purposes, not the main Gallery.

Incidentally, a "bolete" type cap would have pores not gills, but if you can upload your pictures I'm sure some of the very helpful and knowledgeable folk on here will be able to point you in the direction of at least a partial ID.
