Unknown Purple Fungi

Could anyone identify this for me please? It was found in Cornwall, the Saint Blazey area.

However, my best guess would be either Lepista nuda, or Lepista sordida.

Thank you for your reply.

I'm afraid I haven't got much information. The photograph was taken by a friend who wanted to know what it was. I understand the fungi is growing through a wood chip mulch which has been laid to keep weeds down.

Hello,

very probably this is Lepista nuda (Wood Blewitt). At least the sight from above suggests that. The gills are toon white, but I think this is due to the flashlight.
