| | | Funga Nordica & Fungi of Switzerland PDF Index Downloads Available I've recently been advised by a member of the North West Fungus Group, that comprehensive indexes for the fungi species in Funga Nordica, and the 6 volumes of Fungi of Switzerland have been made available as PDF downloads. (Via the Dutch Mycological Society website).
Anyone who regularly uses those books might find these indexes useful.
Anyone wishing to download them should visit:- Nederlandse Mycologische Vereniging
Scroll down the "News" section to find links to the two downloads.
The downloadable Funga Nordica index is particularly useful as it allows for searching directly by species epithet. - Something which the book itself does not.

| | | Re: Funga Nordica & Fungi of Switzerland PDF Index Downloads Available Thanks for that Mike, I've printed out the whole lot for FoS, but notice there seems to be a slight mistake on page 313 where the genus Lactarius seems to have slipped in amongst the T's.
Still very handy though.
Neil.
Oops, read it too quickly - they couldn't squeeze Lactarius on the same line, so they placed it below, making me think they made a mistake, but they haven't.

Yes, (for anyone who’s confused), the listing for individual species is by their epithet so, torminosus var. gracillimus, Lactarius is found amongst the T’s on page 313.
Note that the index has obviously been scanned from the German language printing, with the column headers bild, seite & band representing image, page, & volume, respectively.
Regards,
Mike. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
