Excuse my take on Delia Smith, but didn't anybody go out fungi hunting today ?
I spent the day down in Essex searching Stour Wood and managed to come back with a list of 37 species, plus one I shall have to spend a bit of time on.
Perfect weather, still quite mild and a lovely quiet walk, beats sitting in front of the tele any time.
Right then, do I get my turkey in the oven or start on the sherry trifle ?

| | | Re: Where are you ? Couldnt, grandchildren etc etc, but did get to watch a Tawny for 15 mins in the Elm at the back, so did get some wildlifing in, besides the kids that is!

Few lichen still clinging to the heather though.....
