| | | Seeking some advice on identification
I saw these last week and wonder if they could be Coprinus, perhaps disseminatus? They were at adjacent sites, so maybe they are not even the same species?
Could the specimen below possibly be Armillaria spp?
Thanks in advance for any guidance that can be given |

| | | Re: Seeking some advice on identification Hi Camilo; in answer to your questions; no, no and don`t think so.
Advice; get a good field guide and study, study, study
Guidance; Read the sticky on the fungus forum home page, "how to help us identify your fungus".
Your first 2 pictures look like Mycena sp . I`m not sure about the last one but Armillaria would have whitish gills and white spore print (I think)
Cheers

You're right! You're right! Being systematic and logical is the answer. I like your Mycena suggestion. But I'm still a bit stuck on the third one for which my efforts were dismal. I'm still on it, but in the meantime any ideas? |

following the above advice an agaric with persistently white gills like this is unlikely to be an ink-cap
