A possible Melanoleuca spp?

Trepidation time again. I'm told that there are many Melanoleuca spp. Could this be one of them? Found in chestnut leaf litter

Looking at the way the stem is bent over and is not broken and the texture of the cap surface I would say it was a Collyba. They have the common name 'Tough Shank’s because the stem is tough and difficult to break. I think this is Collybia butyracea (Butter Cap) which should have a slipy, buttery, cap surface. Melanoleuca will not have this texture .

Good guidance Peter, I think that you are right. The shank part would seem to be spot on, and the habitat fits.
