| | | Clavulina? I think this might be a Clavulina species. I found it growing in the short grass of a public park. Any help with ID would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.   |

I think by the way it is spreading over the grass it is a slime mould. Did you feel the consistency?

Unfortunately such a small and low quality image makes even Genus ID difficult.

This site actually contains more detailed images of fungi and other wildlife than probably any other site on the Web. A brief look in the galleries should confirm this!
