help please photo uploading

hi would any one be able to give me sound information as to how to upload and put my mushroom pictures on to a new thread or topic. i have recently found some mushrooms i would love to share with others on here and perhaps people could help me id them i have tried to no avail to work out how to do so, it's probably me lol very basic help would be appreciated as i'm not very computer literate. more of a country girl realy .any help or information would be much appreciated cheers to all .

Za has pointed you in the right direction, but that thread has become somewhat long winded since I made the original post.

The only information you need is contained within these two specific posts:-

At first glance, the uploading requirements might look quite intimidating, but the process is very straight forward if you follow the details carefully.
For ID purposes and general forum use, you need to upload your pics to the Image Library.

I've a feeling Mushroom Fairy needs help in exporting her photos to this site rather than juggling them about once they are here, this is why I cannot send my photos for members opinions.

If this is the case, then we would need to know if she has a PC or a Mac.

Hi Mushroom Fairy

1. place a fungi photo/image onto your desktop/main computer screen at home.

2. then click on any photo/image in any post in the fungi forum.

3) next click 'upload photos' (top right hand corner in the green bar)

4) choose the 'unidentified fungi' category. and press 'browse'

5) select desktop >> and then the image file you wish to upload

6) finally click on upload submit.

(cross fingers)

the photo/image should then be uploaded onto the forum for you to share/post.
