| | | Large fungi for ID I wonder if someone could ID this fungi for me please, it was growing in several clusters beneath a pine tree. The largest caps were between 14-16 cm across. 
I've looked at several books but without much success, would be most grateful if aynone on here can help.

Chris | Whoops! That'll teach me for posting whilst doing other things...
Lepista, in my experience are more buff/beige on top even when they're older and waterlogged, that just looks too grey to me. Gills and stipe would help obviously, but even just from the cap it just doesn't have the right feel for Lepista to me. |
