| | | Fungi ID greatly appreciated Our dog just ate half the cap of this mushroom, been to the vet and they say we need to find out what it is. Approx 10cm tall, found singularly but there are a couple around in 4-5cm tall wet grass, we're in Northamptonshire. No big trees within 50 metres apart from a willow around 10 metres away.
Any help grately appreciated!

| | | Re: Fungi ID greatly appreciated Well, let's put it like this Tom, your dog is not suddenly going to grab a microphone and start singing "I did it my way" and then drop dead.
What I see in the photo is a harmless Ink Cap and if the dog ate the whole lot I still wouldn't be worried.
Save your money and don't return to the vet.
