orangy brown capped fungus for ID please

While clearing out brambles over an old compost site, this fungus, 8-10cm cap, was found growing on it. There were some large whitish fungi (I'll post them seperately) and some dark brownfungi (visible in the group photo) also growing on the heap.
The compost would have been moldered down grass, hornbeam, bramble and oak
Any ideas anyone?

It's not a definite ID Sue, just the best I can come up with.
The fact most held back just shows if something looks not quite just right, then that is sufficient to make people very wary of coming up with a suggestion thus proving that trying to identify fungi over the internet is always going to be fraught with danger.
