Flammulaster muricatus?

Found growing on felled ash trunk a couple of days ago. No particular odour and has gills. I wonder if it's Flammulaster muricatus? Unlikely, but more likely than being wild shiitake?

Not quite sure what you have there - the sticky cap suggests Pholiota aurivella, but the stem seems different and those white hanging scales on the cap rim are something I have never seen before.

I can see 5 fruiting bodies emerging so its growth habit is right for Pholiota, but I'm being very cautious with this one, plus of course, it growing on Ash.
