Another one from my favourite field
Location: Wensleydale. Growing in grass/moss/wild sage with rock rose not far away. Several growing in same area several meters square. They have been there for the last month.
I tried keying it out with Jordan's ency. and came up with Inocybe and possibly I. geophylla var lilacina. As unual I'm not confident and would appeciate second opinions.
Height 6cm Cap diameter 3cm
cap. lilac, umbonate, darker towards the centre.
stipe. lilac. Fleshy. slightly hollow in centre.
Gills. medium crowded. not forked. (adnate? not sure, I find this hard to decide)
smell. I'm not good at this either but thought earthy with a hint of bleach.
Spore print. Brown - darkish
Spores. oval (ish) some a bit banana shaped. (microscope only 600x)
Any help much appreciated.
