Clitocybe confirmation please

This one was found on old horse muck and I`ve seen something similar in previous years, in the same place, that I decided was C. dealbata. However; this one appears to have a flanged edge to the cap and I wondered if this might be significant. Admittedly it was a single specimen so might not be representative. TBH I would be over the moon if somebody could confirm Clitocybe. BTW spore print was white.

Clitocybe should have decurrent gills or broadly adnate at the very least. The gills look emarginate to me (notched near the stem). I'd want to see the spores, but Melanoleuca seems a possibility.

Thanks Ken, I take your point and I should have thought a bit more about the gills. I think I`m making progress but sometimes its stretching the meaning of the word. I will improve and one day you`ll be proud of me

I have no doubt you are improving, just by virtue of perseverance and asking the questions, while I am regressing, by virtue of too many other priorities. Pretty soon, I'm sure we'll meet in the middle.
