| | | Tricholoma query I found this group of fungi with lots of birch trees but directly under a young sycamore. I have given it some consideration and I think it is Tricholoma sp. Spore print was white and cap size was upto 6cm dia. I would say the gills were emarginate. Is it possible to narrow it down further without microscopy.
Any comments most welcome.

Chris | Thanks for that Chris. That was a very interesting thread. I don`t remember any willow around though. Is T. terreum a possibility here.
