purple finds for Id please

During a foray today, I found little of great interest, but was stumped by this little fellow (I have to say, already uprooted and discarded). Despite searches, my friend and I have been unable to identify it.

Could anyone point us in the right direction please ? I'd be quite happy to dissect it or spore print it, if it would help.

I suspect this is the wood blewit, Lepista Nuda (or is it Sordida - I did come across some discussion about the differences while I was trying to ID it). Could anyone confirm or refute, please ?

The first one's gotta be Cortinarius purpurascens surely?

I'll let the others fight out an ID for the second, although you've already got the genus right....

With a cap margin that is distinctly translucently striate and the slender form, I would opt for Lepista sordida. But the differences between this and Lepista nuda can be very subtle.

Stickman - I've had a look online (now that I have an idea what to look for) and I'd say your id is correct. If the picture in the Phillips had had more colour, we might have had more luck.

Ken - thanks for the confirmation. Noone seems to be disagreeing with your diagnosis, so far...........................
