It grows in Pine Forests

Or this one but it's found with Poplar and Willow.

Some kind of concensus then....The illustrations of fungi within dermocybe variations were certainly similar. However, we're back with the microscopic solution which is something for the future.
Anyway, the underside of the cap of this little brown mushroom was a lovely antique gold surprise! I don't remember any sign of orange though, on any part of the gills.
