ID : Small Mycena species?

Hello,

During a recent fungi foray at Fingle Bridge on Dartmoor, there was an unusual small fungi species growing off a long leaf of unknown origin. I suspect this looks like a Mycena of some sort. Is anyone able to recognise this and offer some advice on it's identity please?

Very likely a Marasmius species Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I'm tempted to suggest Goblet Parachute - Marasmiellus vaillantii.

Thanks again John and Mike. Marasmius escaped my mind there. It does look reasonable for Marasmius vaillantii. Hopefully it will be determined but if not, I shall make the suggestion. There was also a nice spiky Marasmius hudsonii on the day.
