| | | Small(ish) brown fungus with scurfy cap for ID help please .. Found growing on soil right on the lake edge with Willow nearby. Largest cap about 2cm and about 1.5cm tall. No smell that I can detect, just the earthy smell from the substrate.
Any pointers gratefully received

Can't really decide if the stipes look scaly enough, but possibly something like Inocybe lanuginosa?
Regards,
Mik. |

They seem to fit well as Inocybe sp. with the possibility of I. lanuginosa but I won't be able to do the microscopy to confirm.
