Hi Tom and welcome to WAB.

Ideally, you would need to give these records to the appropriate recorders based in the county you found them in.
In both cases good photographic evidence would be needed as you would presumably be unknown to the recorders and they simply cannot take people at face value until the recorder has come to know how reliable they are.
Six figure grid references and date are also essential.

Meantime, there is nothing to stop you sending in the fungi photos here (we would love to see them and give an opinion) and the Hornet nest photo to the WAB Insect forum.
