Hi
I know it's a long shot but does anyone have an idea what this is. It was only about 6mm tall on rotting Silver Birch along with Green Elf Cup.

It's best to start by a process of elimination - starting at the top, we can safely rule out Calvatia giganteum ...

well what it is is a young, little more than primordial, agaric fruitbody and that of course is as far as you can go . . . time may tell of course
