Acid grassland fungi for confirmation/identification

Taken 18/10/2011. Acid grassland within mixed woodland (again).
1. Clitocybe nebularis? Birch and Oak both close by. Quite a sweet mushroom smell. Large cap 9cm across.

2. Growing on Fallen ash. Collybia erythropus possibly?

3. Looks past its best but thinking Mycena galericulata maybe? Growing out of Oak (I think) stump

I think you are spot on with Clitocybe nebularis and Mycena galericulata looks pretty close to the mark. Not sure about your second set of pictures though.

Yes, C.nebularis for No 1, no idea for No 2 (but the stem is nowhere near red enough for Collybia (?) erythropus) and No 3, I would be inclined to opt for M.inclinata.

Cheers Neil, (according to my book) the white down at the base and the reddening towards the base and growing on oak stump does suit M. inclinata better.

2. Has dried slightly pallid but getting nothing from a sport print as yet...

Well I couldn't get much from the print only a slight trace of white/slightly cream colour... any more suggestions on picture 2? Or may have to go in the unknown file - but such is the way
