| | fly fungus? Hi all,
this Cluster fly (I think) was dead ,but perched strangely on twine, as high as it could get in the greenhouse - could it have been infected by Entomophthora muscae possibly?
Not an area I know at all, so grateful for views!

It looks exactly like the photos I have of this species also with cluster fly.

almost certainly Entomophthora muscae although the molecular bods are looking at these and there seem to be more species than hitherto accepted, mostly strictly host limited and identifiable without sequencing (although not without microscopy of course)
