| | Crystal brain- Exidia nucleata? help with I.D needed Found this fascinating specimen on a pile of cut branches...mostly birch but other varieties there too. All were stacked at the side of a lake and under very mature trees, so in the shade. It was very soft to the touch.

I would have thought (given the brown tint and likely substrate) this is a slightly washed out Exidia repanda.
