Taken 6/10/2011, acid grassland within mix woodland Northampton.
1. I think this might be a Laccaria sp. cap 20mm, stipe 80mm in length
Pinkish gills, trying to get a spore print but getting nothing, cap has dried pale  
2. An earthball? Was already up-rooted   
3. Next to Oak, a Russula? - was in a bad state  
4. Not sure a troop surrounding ash - large fungi, approx 150mm in length

- yes to Laccaria most probably L. proxima but accurate ID impossible without microscopy
- Scleroderma citrinum
- probably Russula atropurpurea (but I don't do Russulas
 ) - very super-annuated Armillaria species

Ahhh I can just now make out a ring on the Armillaria stipe - something I totally missed whilst photographing the underside 
My Identification at least to genus/family is slowly getting there - patience and a good book and you guys to thank
