Is this Toad's ear

Can anyone confirm if this is Toad's ear or not

Never seen it come to that never even heard of it but it certainly looks right from the descriptions I have.

This is an Otidea, as like this one they usually have a split in one side, whereas Peziza are usually a complete cup shape.

According to Ellis & Ellis there are two species that are dark brown. O.bufonia (Toads Ear) and O. cochleata, they can be separated easily with a microscope. but not so easily macroscopically. O.bufonia is called 'Toads Ear' because the outer surface is sometimes warty like a toad’s skin, however, on the specimen I once found it required a hand lens to see and it was not over the whole surface only in a small area.
