| | | ID for these fungi please. A friend has emailed me the attached pictures of fungi in her north Hampshire garden. A simple id for each would be appreciated.
The only additional comment she has provided is that the last one is about the size of a saucer! |

First is Scleroderma citrinum the second a Russula and the last a Bolete of some sort.

| | | re: ID for these fungi please. The first 2 are slightly over exposed, but I'm confident they are Scleroderma citrinum.
The pink ones - maybe Mycena pura, but Calocybe carnea is another possibility.
The last is too far gone to tell if it is a Bolete or a Leccinum.

| | | Re: ID for these fungi please. I never even noticed you slipped a post in before me Mal.
You've got me worried now - must admit, Russula never even crossed my mind, I also think now the caps are too thick for M.pura/rosea. I think this is up for grabs.

| | | Re: ID for these fungi please. Thank you all for your help. I shall pass the info on and she can take it further by looking at the suggestions via Google and going back into the garden armed with that info! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
