Is this a Dead Mens Fingers or a Candlesnuff?
Keep coming across these photos I've taken and never identified. This is in a deciduous wood in Cumbria in Spring. Not sure which this fits in.

I think these are all Candlesnuff, at an early stage.
Its fooled me in the past, with its similarity to pipe club too when this fresh and developing.
If it was dead mans Adam, it would be much chunkier, Dead Molls is slimmer and closer to this , but still Candlesnuff for me!
However, I have been known to be wrong......................
