Any chance someone could ID this prolific fungi that appeared overnight around my fir tree stump

Try looking at images of Conifer Tuft to see if that looks likely. It's hard to tell from the picture you have posted as the purple soil and tree stump indicate that your camera may not have rendered the colours totally correctly.

Yes just noticed the purple tree stump !
But actually the fungi colour is actually quite accurate

Try looking at Brick Tuft - Hypholoma lateritium as well although it is usually on hardwood i.e. Oak

With the colours tweaked it comes out like this.

I'm thinking more Conifer than Brick as they are growing out of all 3 conifer stumps and seem a lot more common than the brick tuft
