Possible pseudocraterellus undulatas?

The following were found yesterday. At first I thought they were old C.tubaeformis. However, on closer inspectionthey are quite different. The smell and shape of the stipe is quite similar, but there was no yellow at all. The top of the caps are quite different - a more mottled colour and texture and more wavy edges. They also formed in more clumps than tubaeformis. Could these be pseudocraterellus undulatas? Your help on this would be most appreciated. The pictures contain C.Tubaeformis for comparison.

I think you're right. David and I found P. undulatas en masse at Alice Holt in '08. It was a species I was glad to tick off the list. Ours were a little more grey but yours look damp which probably explains the colour.

Hi Nick thanks for the reply. I found these next to a main path in Minley Woods. A place I have walked a hundred times (and a few times with David on our local fungi walks) yet I have never seen them there before.

That's good to find them in Minley mate, never saw them there in any of our many visits. Plenty of stuff happening down there at the mo?
