Don't pay too much notice of lack of smell as a lot of people smell things differently.

| | | Re: Agaricus ID needed I've got 2 in the fridge at the moment, waiting for me to get round to doing a spore print. Unfortunately they've been there rather a long time now, anyone know if it's still worth a try?

| | | Re: Agaricus ID needed Depending upon the size Laura, I would put the stems in a cup or similar with water just touching the stem and put a few drops of water onto the stem cap, hoping it soaks in rather than run off.
I normally place a slide across the rims of the cup and balance the fungus on the slide, but if you you do not have a microscope, cut a hole out on a piece of white card or even photo copier paper, push the stem through, then place the stem in the water and a few drops on the cap and leave over night.
