| | | Help identifying mushroom Hi, could I have some help identifying a mushroom which I found please.
It was found on a log in a woodland area in Cardiff. Attached are 4 photos, 2 front and 2 underside.
Diameter of the largest one is 27 cm, depth 9cm, and the diameter of the smaller one is 17cm.

I suspect this was on a birch log - it's Piptoporus betulinus the birch polypore
