Ive added leaves of the tree these where under could they be stump puffballs thank you...Ray

Spot on Ray, you're learning fast !

In this case the fungi are growing on dead wood so leaves are unimportant, but every little bit helps.

you have to be a little careful mind - these were two feet up on a fallen mossy trunk . . . . and they sure ain't pyriforme . . . .
