Fungus Savenake Forest

This was amongst beech mast etc on a mossy log in an area containing holly and low scrub in quite a dark area.

It had a cap 6-8 cms, stem similar height and a cylinder. No noticeable smell. Overall white, grey impression but I can see more fawn and pink in the image.

Beginner at fungus indent but keen photographer so I failed to pick and poke, sorry. Quite fond of common names where applicable.

Don't suppose you know what wood it was growing on do you? Due to the highlights in the image, I can't quite tell if it's a grey tinge or a brown tinge which could distinguish the difference between P. cervinus and P. salicinus

Thank you after your kind reply I looked up images for pluteus salicinus and I am sure that was it. It was very grey and the small guide I have only showed the brown one so I didn't make the connection. Id is very frustrating.
