bracket on beech for id if poss please

Hi. Can anyone id this young bracket for me please. seen two lots of this both on dead beech trunks. distinctive white with blue/steely grey cap(top)
hairy. underside is also distinct with (pointed) gills. both specimins observed only over the past two weeks.

It might be Creolophus cirrhatus, the layered tooth-fungus. from the Hericiaceae family. Sorry I cant provide a more definitive answer but I'm still learning myself, Happy hunting
