Looks like you had a good day
We have seen some of the fungi on your list such as the Candle Snuff, Hoof Fungus, Jew's Ear, Many-Zoned Polypore etc. and I have been looking some of the others up in the Gallery. I'd like to see the Collared Earthstar and the Beech Jelly Disc... and the Black Witches Butter... oh and the Hairy Curtain Crust...
... whereabouts in Clumber were you please
Thanks!
Jenny

Jenny | Hi Jenny
I'll pm you with information on the areas of Clumber. It is divided into about 100 compartments, so it makes more sense if you know the mapping!
It always surprises me when I see that you have been there on the same day, but somehow our paths never cross ... well it is a large area
The Collared Earthstar was found around the corner from the conservation centre as you turn right towards Ash tree wood (left hand side by the large group of snow drops by an old stump).

That information will be fantastic - I'll send you a pm straight away...
My dad (Nettle Runner) is actually at Clumber just about every weekend morning - he has been finding some interesting fungi and bugs. We've been to Sherwood a few times at the weekend but I think I'll have to get the Duke of York to take us to Clumber instead
Hopefully we'll get some nice weather this weekend so we can go and find that Collared Earthstar...
Thanks again!
Jenny
