I suspect no 3 is Jew's Ear (or should that be Jelly Ear ) but I have no idea about the rest although I should be able to narrow it down from John's list
Sorry but i didn't take any pictures of my smut fungus, I left that to those with the macro lenses | On this first picture, why not the grey hymenium of a jung specimen of Bjerkandera adusta ?

And some Jew's ears. | I found out where 'Jew's Ear' came from while watching something on TV about Elder trees the other day - apparently it's based on the legend that Judas Escariot hung himself from an Elder Tree. Are you all impressed with the depths of my useless knowledge or did you already know that?
Anyway, I found this on my dead apple tree my Fungi guide leads me to think it might be Chicken of the Woods. I can add another photo if anyone wants to see it from further back.

ecmyco | I think I'll let John answer that one as he is the expert
Jennywrenny and I went to Clumber Park this afternoon to see what we could find. We ended up in area 10B where there wasn't much but I did find this one
From the Gallery I think it looks like Phlebia tremellosa but I'll let the experts confirm
We also had a look in 7A and 7B but we didn't really spot much either. Where's hawkeye Kev when you need him |
