St George's Mushroom? In September?

Two photographs taken yesterday in North Yorkshire.
There was a small cluster of them.
They were growing in open mixed woodland, nearest trees were birch.
Cap diameter 5cm
Mealy smell
white spore print

If this was April I would be confident of my ID; but September?
Having said that I do have spring bulbs pushing up in the garden




Confirmation or otherwise gratefully appreciated.

It's important not to jump to conclusions, even if this had been found in Spring. I think this is more likely to be one of the whitish Tricholoma species.
