Anyone got any thoughts of Amanita muscaria var aureola
Described as orange rather than red and having no or almost no velar remnants on the cap.

Hi Mal

I've often thought I have found this I would have expected Amanita muscaria var aureola to be more 'overall' 'golden yellow' in colour ... and you have had a little more rain recently
